      Brooks Quayle are working on a multi-placement engagement with a fast-growing boutique firm across multiple locations. The roles are across multiple service lines and multiple locations, so far, we have found 3 MD’s for them, having started it in December, with a number still in pipeline and more geographies to start searching in.

      Brooks Quayle were recently engaged on a search for a Pass-through Tax Partner to replace a retiree. The search was made more difficult as there was an existing employee who thought they would be a successor, but the business did not believe them ready for that role, so there needed to be a sufficient gap in experience/skills to this person, who ultimately became their number 2.

      Brooks Quayle successfully assisted the FDD division of a Global Accounting firm in their search for 2 senior FDD executives. They were looking for diverse candidates who could drive the development of their business and growth of their teams. They would be responsible for the identification and development of technologies, services and products. The candidate started in the summer of 2020Head of Tax – Investment Manager

      Brooks Quayle successfully assisted the Transaction Advisory arm of a national Professional Services firm with finding a Senior Managing Director that specifically had deep FDD experience across a range of industries. The hire was made more complicated as they required them to operate across Dallas and Atlanta. We successfully found the right individual and they started after a 3 month search and interview process. Partner and Head of Audit for region, Big 4

      Brooks Quayle were engaged on a role to bring two main service lines together and help the Partners of the two service lines manage execution and oversee developing and growing the team. It was a slightly unusual role as it crossed two service lines, but the candidate we found had experience in both and started ahead of the schedule they had in mind.

      Brooks Quayle successfully assisted the tax division of a National Accounting firm in their search for a senior M&A Tax leader. They were looking for someone who could extract the existing business from the corporate tax division and develop a specialist division. BQ ended up finding 2 candidates for them, one to lead, but retire in 5 years and one to develop under them and eventually take over from them. Partner – Pass-through Tax, Mid-tier Public Accounting firm

      Brooks Quayle were commissioned by a NY HQ’d firm to find “future Due Diligence leaders” for succession purposes. This meant finding candidates approaching the apex of their careers with their current employers, which makes headhunting them more challenging. The search was conducted over a 2-month process and a number of possible options were presented before successfully closing 2 candidates.

      Brooks Quayle recently assisted a top 10 Accounting firm with a senior leadership position within their Real Estate offering. The role was to run one of the firms largest industry verticals from a Tax service line, maintain and grow the existing portfolio, manage and develop a large team and put together a strategy and business plan for the business. The process was made challenging by the worldwide pandemic, but ultimately successful.

      BQ worked with a fast-growing boutique firm looking for MD’s that fit in with their service offerings, including Restructuring, TAS and PI and ideally from a diverse background. We have so far placed 3 MD’s with them, 2 of whom were diverse. The role was made more complicated as the company pay low base salaries with high total earnings, which a lot of candidates are not prepared to risk.
